Airclan Camp

I dipped my head at Shadow and flicked the tip of my tail, telling Sun to follow behind. After I got outside I waited for Sun patiently.

Sun was already dashing off, in the chase of a hawk flying up ahead. "Get back!" Tsunami shouted, running faster than the apprentice, leaping in the air and landing on the hawk's shoulders. She bit deeply into the neck and extended her claws. When the hawk began to fall, she leaped off and scolded the apprentice, "Are you so mouse-brained that you go off in pursuit of a hawk? A hawk can take you up with their powerful talons; you're lucky he didn't get you, and he became our lunch, instead of you becoming his!"

I watched Sun and laughed a bit. I walked after the two and mewed, "That is true, but no need to be so harsh Tsunami." I lashed my tail.

Tsunami curled her lip in a snarl. "You think i want my sister dead? I don't, thanks." Tsunami turned away and lifted her tail in the air, signaling for Leaf to follow. Leaf pounded after his sister.

I snarled back and turned to Sun, "Alright, Shadow wanted us to go hunting. Now lets go!" I mewed happily and dashed into the braken.

Sun dashed after her mentor, speeding till she was leading, she turned and faced her mentor, and Wave pounded into her. "Ha, got ya!" Sun shook her fur and stood, the hard pound had barely done a thing.

I smiled, "Alright, now what do you smell?" I meowed

"I smell...." Sun sniffed the air, her sightless eye gleaming, her other eye gleamed as well. "I smell vole, water vole, and fish."

(here, imma give ya a layout of da territory!)

"Good!" I mewed, "Now do you scent any prey nearby?"

((Mkk!!))

Sun looked thoughtful. "In that bush." She lifted her head to a large bush with flowers. "It's a vole."

"Great!" I mewed happily. Wow, she sure is a good at scenting prey...now lets see how good she catches it! I thought. "Now, I want you to go get as much prey as you can and bring it back here! No stopping to bury it!" I meowed to her.

Shadow stalked from his den and walked into the forest, a patrol of Cave-Guards and Prey-Hunters behind him. He sat in front of Thorn. "Get out, you are not of my species. You don't belong in the Tribe of Shallow Water. You belong in the Tribe of Normal Nights!" At this, Sun crouched to the ground, hissing loudly. "Leave! You worthless Eagle-brained mollusk!"

I fell aback and stared at the cats, "P-please..." I mewed quietly, "You can't do this to me..."

"I can, and i am. Leave, before the tribe tears you apart!" Tsunami took a deep breath, then she too crouched to the ground, eyes blazing and tail lashing. Sure, she's been my best friend since before apprentice times.... But, I need to be the best Prey-Hunter i can be. And be as loyal as possible. Tsunami circled Thorn, hissing loudly.

I lowered my head, "Am I losing everything I love?!" I yowled and added, "My kit and now my bestfriend!!" with that I dashed off through the forest.

Blood, the leader of Normal Nights, laid on his rock when he saw another lesser circled around his camp.

Shadow bowed his head. "Very nice, Tsunami. Would you mind getting Sun? We have to break the news to her."

I paced around in circles, not knowing that I was near the Normal Nights Tribe, "Why does this always happen to me..." I mewed softly to myself.

"Trespasser!" Blood screeched, then launched himself down the valley, claw extended, racing towards Thorn.

I yowled with shock, "WAIT!" I screeched.

Blood slowed but fixed the she-cat with an un-friendly glare. "What is it, loner?!"

I paused for a moment and then mewed, "I was kicked out of my old tribe and wanted to come here...."

"You think Normal Nights just takes in any old cat?" Blood sneered. "If you think so, you have thistledown for brain! You must fight our newest Cave-Guard! SCREECH!" A large she-cat shot towards her leader. She was bulky, large muscled, with a black body and gray tiger markings.

I stared at the she-cat, "So do I fight?"

"Yes, you twit." Screech sneered. "One....two....fight!" Screech reared onto her hind legs and crashed down on Thorn's head.

I rolled onto my back and kicked Screech back with my hind legs, my claws scraping her underbelly. I shot up and dashed underneath the she-cat. Then I jumped onto her back, digging my claws into her skin. Yowling I clawed harshly at her back.
