Airclan Camp

I walked into my camp and saw Skypaw, I walked to him and nudged his with my nose, "You wanna eat together? 'Cause I'm starved..." I smiled at him lightly. Skypaw smiled back and nodded, "Yea, sure." Both of us walked to the freshkill pile and grabbed some mice. I ate mine quickley, faster than Skypaw, but I talked to him, until he was done eating. When we got up, we both went into the apprentices den and curled up near each other.

The night was dark and Lynxpaw was woken by a paw proding her in the side. "Hey, watchit...." she mumbled bu then stopped from saying any more as Rushingpaw stared down at her. "Midnight hunting." he whispered, bringing Lynxpaw to her paws by wrapping his tail lightly around her neck. "Yeah yeah i'm comin...." She mumbled as she walked through the undergrowth with Rushingpaw at her side.

I woke up, and twitched the tip of my tail, "Hmmm..." I looked over at Skypaw and smiled lightly, "Hey Skypaw! You wanna go hunting?" He rose his head up and murmered something, "Yea..." he yawned and stood up, "Lets go..." I knew he was still half-asleep, so I led him toward the forest.

Lynxpaw was linking tails with Rushingpaw when they walked back into the camp. Lynxpaw had a hefty mouse and three water voles. Rushingpaw had a large falcon. They walked into camp and dropped the food on the fresh kill pile. Rushingpaw picked up the falcon and dropped it at Lynxpaw's paws. "Wanna share?" he asked. Lynxpaw nodded her head and they sat down to eat their meal.

Skypaw and I were walking back when we smelt something funny, "Wonder what that smell is..." I muttered to Skypaw, "Hm..." he lifted his head and tasted the air, "Well...lets report it to Snowstar when we get back. Kay?" I nodded and walked into the camp. I was holding two mice and Skypaw had a thrush...and two mice. We were actually the ones low on food...not Airclan.

Lynxpaw licked her lips then curled them in a snarl when she saw Sapphirepaw. "Well, Rushingpaw, i'm going battle training with Flamelegs and Ivypaw.

I ate a mouse I caught and licked Skypaw's head, "See ya later." I mewed and turned to run through the undergrowth.

Lynxpaw sat in the training hollow with her mentor. Suddenly, Flamelegs leaped on her and pawed her head. Lynxpaw laughed and flipped him over, cuffing him on the ear.

I padded in the Training hollow and laughed when I saw Lynxpaw on top of Flamelegs, "Isn't the mentor supposed to be stronger than the apprentice?" I smiled.

Flamelegs flipped her over and bit her hind leg. Lynxpaw wailed, "Not fair! You never said you were going to do that." Flamelegs laughed and let her go. "Oh yeah, cause in the heap of battle, an enemy Warrior is going to say, 'Watch out, i'm going to bite you now!'" Flamelegs laughed harshly. "Come join!" Lynxpaw called as she batted her mentor.

I stared at them for a second, they looked more well fed than me. I looked at my stomach...able to see my ribs. I could barley see theirs! "Um..." I mewed and relucticly pounced on Flamelegs.

"No! Two cats is unfair!" Flamelegs bit her shoulder softly. He leaped up on a tree branch. "Bout time you guys became Warriors."

I looked up at the Warrior and smiled warmly, "That'd be cool..." I swayed my head back and forth, and purred.

"It is cool." Flamelegs said, nosing her a falcon. "Hungry? We have tons of these birds!" Lynxpaw purred at the thought of being a Warrior.

I ate the bird quickly and did a quick lick over my lips, "Thank you." I purred.

"Anytime." Rushingpaw walked into the hollow. "Lynxpaw, me, you, and Sapphirepaw are becoming Warriors! And her, if she likes." Rushingpaw pointed his tail to the Waterclan visitor.

"Of corse I wanna be one!" I meowed at Rushingpaw.

"Then come on!" Rushingpaw linked his tail with Lynxpaw's. "Hold on, let's wait for her. she's a friend, and she doesn't know where to go." Lynxpaw explained to Rushingpaw. He nodded his head and they waited till Ivypaw was at their side before dashing through the forest.

I dashed along with them, smiling the whole time.

They aproached the camp and Heatherstar called them. "Good to see you, Ivypaw. Now, i don't wish to do the entire ceremony, for I have whitecough. But i will make you Warriors. Sapphirepaw, you are to be known as Sapphireflare. Goldenpaw, you are to be known as Goldenpelt. Rushingpaw, you are to be known as Rushingstripe. Ivypaw, you are now known as Ivyrose, and Lynxpaw, you are now Lynxlily." Heatherstar bowed her head and gave a yowl. "Come here." Rushingstripe beckoned to his new Warrior friends. "Let us feast!"

I smiled even wider, "Feast?!" I yowled happily and ran out of the den.

There was 6 falcons, 7 mice, 4 thrush, 6 voles, 2 water voles, a magpipe, 6 crows, and one butterfly, caught by a kit. Lynxlily and her friend Seasonmist padded towards the two largest falcons. "Come on!" Lynxlily called.

I went for the water voles first, "Yay!" I mewed and ate the two water voles, before anyone could get them/

"You're supposed to share, you stinking mouse-brain!" Goldenpelt hissed as she stopped to glare at Ivyrose. "But, you shouldn't know better. Anyway, you are Waterclan!"

I snapped my head to Goldenpelt and hissed loudly, "And what is that supposed to mean?!" I snapped at the cat and curled my lip into a snarl.
