Airclan Camp

Moonfrost was low on the ground, hunting. His clan was VERY short on food, so he decied to go to Airclan. As he got farther into their territory, he started to smell MANY different types of prey, They mush be having a feast of some sort... He thought and poked his head out to see a few cats chowing down on so many types of prey. Then he saw a she-cat about to attack...Should I do something? he thought and just watched.

Goldenpelt curled her lip into a smirk. "It means you're WaterClan. That's bad enough to make FireClan cry." She turned around and walked back into her den with a smile.
Lynxlily nudged Foxtail. "Ignore Goldenpelt. I do." She smiled and continued eating a large falcon.
Suddenly Lynxlily's head shot up and she ran towards the noise where Moonfrost sat. She screeched and launched herself at the silver cat. She clawed his underbelly and bit into his front paw.

Moonfrost hissed and batted her away, "Can I speak!" he yowled and stared at the two she-cats.

I hissed loudly and my fur stood up, "Why should we?" I meowed.

"You smell like FireClan!" Lynxlily growled, pinning him down easily again. "What do you have to say?"
(brb i wanna bagel!)

Moonfrost started to speak, "I need to have a word with Heatherstar. I'm the medicine cat of Fireclan."

Lynxlily dipped her head and led him to her den. "Don't lay paw on her." Lynxlily hissed before padding back to her friends.

I turned to Lynxlily, "You think you should trust him?" I whispered to her.

"Myabe. But he's a medicine cat....a cute one at that.... I mean, what can i say? He's a Medicine cat. I can smell those herbs on him."

Moonfrost nodded and padded toward the leader's den, "Heatherstar?" He called, "It's Moonfrost, I needa word with you. Shinestar sent me."

Heatherstar bowed her head. "Yes, yes, come."

I shrugged, "True true." I padded toward the magpie and began to eat it.

Lynxlily pulled her back. "No, no. We are of age that after we have eaten two morsels we must find a mate."

Moonfrost padded into the den and dipped his head to the leader, "I have come to tell you that Shinestar wants to hunt in your territory for a period of time." he mewed.

I yawned and whined, "Do we have to?"

Heatherstar's amber gaze peirced into his green. "No. I cannot do so. WaterClan has asked the same. Why can't you ask for EarthClan prey? I mean, dear Starclan!"

"Yes. That is custom. But, we don't choose our males. The males choose us. We can either approve or disapprove. Come on, it's about to start!"

Moonfrost shuffled his paws, "Well...you guys seem to have more prey than they do." he meowed relucticly.

I shrugged and walked to the area, "Now what?" I mewed to Lynxlily.

Heatherstar's gaze softened as she looked at him. "I am sorry, Moonfrost. Tell your leader i am greatly sorry. You will have to demand hunting rights; not ask for them."
Lynxlily let out a purr. "We must go to fourtees, of course."

I smiled and purred, "Well, lets go then!" I mewed and ran off toward Fourtrees.

Moonfrost dipped his head and padded out of the den.

Lynxlily ran with blinding speed towards the island. She leaped onto the log and walked across. She sat under the Great Rock and waited for all the males to gather above. "Well.....I choose Sapphireflare." A strong muscular male mewed; Lynxlily idenified him as Thrushwhisker. Sapphireflare shook her head. "Sorry" she meowed in a mocked tone. Thrushwhisker bowed his head and leaped off the stone, he would have to wait another moon for a mate. "Sapphireflare?" A smaller tom mewed, it was Stonepelt. "Yes, i thought you wouldn't ask." She touched noses with the tom and walked off, back to camp. Now A cat from FireClan stood on the rock. He was calico and stood on sturdy, powerful legs, his gray eyes scanning the crowd for a certain cat. "Gingerclaw?" he asked, and a long haired she-cat rose. "Of course." she mewed, touching noses with her mate. Then there was another AirClan cat. Lynxlily gasped and her eyes filled with hope as she gazed up to see Rushingstripe standing on the rock, his broad orange muscles moving as he walked to the top. He stood, the wind buffeting his fur as he called out the only name Lynxlily did not want to hear. "Goldenpelt!" Goldenpelt stood and rushed to Rushingstripe. "Now who would be so mouse-brained to say no?" They touched noses and Lynxlily let out a hiss of anger. "Why her!" she snorted to Foxtail. "Can't he see that i exsist?" She clawed at the ground and Flamelegs stood on the Great Rock. "Everyone knows i love Rushingbird, so bring her up." The giant black she-cat launched herself up the rock and licked his muzzle. "Yes." They touched noses and Lynxlily laid down. That was all the males who liked her. She was to have no mate this moon. She laid and rolled onto her back, streching each leg into the air at a time.

I sighed and licked Lynxlily's head, "It's ok." I smiled and lied down, not caring if I got a mate or not.

Rushingstripe leaped off the rock with Goldenpelt and i flashed a glance of envy at her. "One second." I said, getting up and walking to Rushingstripe. "Hey, Rushingstripe, come here for a sec." Rushingstripe padded back with Lynxlily. "When we get back to camp, before you mate with Goldenpelt, and leave your friends behind, may i ask that i share tongues with you?" Rushingstripe nodded and Lynxlily rested her head on his chest, he got up and padded away. "So what now?" Lynxlily rumbled, looking around.

I ran after Lynxlily and murmered, "I'd just forget about him."
